Graduate Greenville is currently seeking mentors for 7 male and 2 female students at Greenville High School and 6 male students at Berea High School.   These students have been identified as potential high school dropouts and need additional adult role models in their lives.  Mentors agree to make a one year commitment to spend 4 - 6 hours with students per month to provide friendship, encouragement, and guidance.

Registration and matches are handled by Big Brothers Big Sisters Upstate.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is looking for volunteers and candidates for board positions.  JDRF’s mission is to fund research to find a cure for Type One Diabetes.  Locally our chapter provides leadership to educate and support for families dealing with the disease and to manage our three major fund raisers – The Walk, The Ride and the Gala.

Experts fully believe that Type One Diabetes can be cured – not just treated but cured – in the near future based on current advances being funded by JDRF.

This is a great opportunity to expand your community leadership with a fun group of volunteers and to be a part of the generation that cures diabetes.

If you have interest in serving as a volunteer or to be nominated for a board position, please contact David Barnett at Pinnacle Bank:

Phone 233-8275 or email at dbarnett@pinnaclebanksc.com

Thanks for your help.
